What is design thinking?

Design Thinking is an iterative process that we use to solve problems that are not well defined. Chris Hannon, Creative Director, walks you through the basics of this methodology which consists of five steps: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. He explains why design thinking isn’t about quickly driving towards one defined solution, but rather it strives to produce a wider set of concepts that will ultimately draw out the best solution(s). Furthermore, design thinking isn’t just for designers — any and every one that plays a role or has a point of view within a product’s lifecycle has the ability to contribute to the design thinking process.
